Last weekend i changed my engine oil and oil filter.

I bought the car in Feb 06 and it has only done about 10miles since then, Due to insurance i had to wait until my renewal date before putting her on the road.

With that date now three weeks away, i thought i would give her a quick service for piece of mind, so i started last weekend and changed the engone oil.dont know what was in it.......so i drained it and flushed it, the filled with Fully Synth Mobil 1, I pre-filled the new filter before installing, Then poured a decent amount into the engine and dipped it..nothing showing, Bit more in,Dipped it....nothing showing, again a bit more in and dipped it..nothing showing. I have used the full 4LTR of oil and still not registering on the dip stick?????

Even warmed the car to see if i could get a reading but still nothing????

Any ideas.

4.5 Litres is what it takes m8.
I wouldnt warm an engine with nothing showing on the dip stick!

Ha Ha, thats what i thought in may have been, but thought naaaa cant be soming so simple.

I didnt warm the engine until i had a full 4LTRS in the engine so i was pritty sure it was gonna be ok, didnt move or rev the car just let it pump the oil by itself.
