Default fuel pump

hi im looking for some advice on changing my fuel pump,which is the best to go for?my cars an my96 import sti wagon,any advice would be great

cheers,thats the one i was looking at getting,is it easy to change,and what about after its fitted,do i need anything else to go with it?

thanks,whatfuel regulator would be best to get and is it an easy job to replace?

walbro 255 was recommended to me by Andy F
Put a new tank gasket in at the same time

cheers,wheres the best place to buy the pump and gasket,and would i need a new fuel regulator?

i use the walbro 255 without any problem. i am not sure about the regulator. In my case i dont need it because i install the 255 with a vf35 intead of td04

LG, it's irrelevant what turbo you choose to run, if the reg cannot provide consistant pressure you will run into problems.

Komatsu are you local to Essex? If so there's a couple of places in the area that stock the parts you require.

Try Mocom Racing if you are in Essex.

They are pretty near North Weald Arifield (M11/J7 I think)

Just a thing about Warlbro pumps- perfectly decent pumps, but remember they wont flow 255lph unless you can supply them with more than 12v.

Take a look at this:-

As you can see, at 12v the warlbro 255 (model 341) will only flow 225lph at 43.5 psi (ie base fuel pressure). At 1 bar boost it will flow just over 190lph.

If you need 255lph of fuel delivery, you need to hotwire the pump to get the voltage up to deliver it.
