Hi guys, help me out here.
went to buy an N reg Saloon 555 STi v2
the car was parked up in a garage cold and started up. sounds ok but then theres this noise from the turbo
more of a sharp inconsistent rattle and tink. like something is spinning and topuching metal. the guy said it was the turbo.

i didnt drive the car and it didnt seem to misfire or smoke largely there was jsut the usual dew out of the exhaust as it was just stated and cold.

how can i suss out the problem and resolve it. what should i test and try out when driving??

 

What MY is the car and is it standard ?

 

as far as i know its N reg 1995 St v2 555 edition, has air filter dump valve and boost gauge and i think standard. oh and exhaust but has the cat on the downl=pipe
