Default boost solenoid

i think my 94 wrx has a 2 port solenoid, can a 3 port solenoid just be wired upto the wires for the 2 port or does it have to be wired into the loom

If the solenoid is standard it will have 3 ports, also map sensor is good to around 17.5 psi (approx 1.2 BAR) iirc.

the boost solenoid and map sensor are separate items..

on an Apexi ecu you can only run 1bar with the standard map sensor if the PowerFC is used to control the boost..
you don;t need to change the boost solenoid the standard 3port is fine and is what is often used to replace the 2pot on the newer cars.

If you are going with an Apexi PowerFC there are options ranging from cheap to around 300 to get over the problem.. if you are doing something else then need more info
