Default half boost

Driving back from my girlfriends to day and the car was boosting as normal then all of a sudden whilst giving it some stick the car dropped to 0.5 bar of boost and this carried on for about 5 mins of me flooring the loud pedal and still only half boost but you can see it trying to get past 0.5 bar and creeping toward 0.6.
another 5 miles down the road and hey presto back to normal again and boosting perfectly to 0.9 bar.
my car is a 95 wrx and has a full decat, pipercross ind kit and a baileys dv26 dump valve.
any ideas lads as its very annoying

yeah but surely if it has gone into limp mode then it would have stayed on limp mode for the whole drive, whereas the car was back to normal after 5 miles down the road
Im confused as when my last scoob was in limp mode it stayed at half boost for the whole drive.
can it maybe be the dump vlave leaking???
i have the baileys unit on the scoob which im changing for a turbox rfl unit this week.
anyone?????
