Get a KL, and do the following. (I only did this the other day, and couldn't believe how easy it was!!)
Remove the cover from the KL box (4 little screws)
Remove the Speedo/Tacho cowling
Use the cover from the KL as a template
Drill out 4x 3.5mm and 1x 5mm hole into the cowling
Place the KL upside down so the LEDS poke through holes.
Tape the KL down to the cowling.
and Voila!!

Thanks guys,
gives me a few options for thought
Not sure how much room ive got above the binicle / speedo cowling to place a knocklink, plus drilling holes im not so sure I would need to check.
As for remote mounting the leds, seems a real neat option, but after speaking to a friend who has stripped a knocklink down and thought better of it, I think im better off trying to getting the one I want first time round.
Its all very well buying these mods, but do i want to spend more time fitting them than driving the car? I certainly dont

I can assure you if your car has the 98-00 style dash, then there is plenty of room above the speedo cowling for the whole KL box. As i said in thread above, thats what I have done!! Drilling 5x holes in plastic isn't a big deal, only the fact that they will still be there if you ever remove the KL is an issue.
If you can source another cowling from a breakers, then its easy
