hi does any one know what pre 96 sti ran 440's as standard and what is the boost cut on this?

also could i use this ecu on a 96 wrx with 440's vf23 turbo, full decat and down pipe , hks headers and up pipe, and hks boost controller, walbro pump.
as long as i only run say 1.05 bar boost? as i know the ignition map on these ecu's is fairly advanced. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers rob
