Exhaust leak ?
97UK turbo.
Ported OEM Headers & up pipe
Turbo - TD04 hybrid ( that's another headache)
Wide throat sports cat Miltek down pipe.
Got everything warmed up yesterday on the motorway and when I pulled off the motorway smoke / exhaust spewying out of the bonnet ! Opened it up and it seemed to be coming upwards from the down pipe, but it mayu have been getting deflected from turbo heat sheild
The turbo's giving me headaches at the moment and my first instinct is to blame that damn thing, but
has anyone had a problem with aftermarket down pipes splitting ? Seems unlikely.
Had Lambda off for mapping, so will get big spanner on that later - just wondering if anyone else had failure in this area ?
