Dead dump valve?
Morning guys n gals, hoping someone can help....
I think my dump valve is f**ked - is now activating far earlier than it ever did, on almost no boost/when lifting off from very little revs.
Rather than a hard and loud TSSHH I get a long and lazy (and quiter) tssssssshhhhhhhhhh and it actually vents boost on a very light (almost no) throttle.
Idle is wrecked, hunts and stumbles between practically zero and 1100 rpm.
Can anyone confirm if this is the DV?
Thanks in advance.

It is aftermarket, forge (IIRC), not sure of model number.
Would it just be a split diaphragm or something? Can these be repaired or is it time for a new one?
Am only running std boost, is there a life expectancy for these things? Only had since January but do quite higher mileage - prob done 15k miles on it already.
