poor running wrx 93
hi,its hard to explain but it feels on very light throttle like its sort of spluttering and holding back allmost choking, then with a bit more throttle it clears and will boost up fine again?
also today it felt a bit down on power then cleared, then i went out again and it went down, then cleared, and when i pulled up a roundabout it hunted, then i drove round the corner and was ok again???
the car has been decatted and appears to have no lambda sensor, altho it has been running fine,i thought maybe tps,or plugs?any thoughts greatfully recieved, neil.

lambada is in the headers on the drivers side on that age of car.
What fuel are you using?
If you have changed the coilpacks it may be worthwhile resetting the ecu and see how it behaves then.

hi mate i have something similar... whe i decatted my 95 wrx, the new decat downpipe had a nut shaped hole in the top for a sensor... but the sensor that was supposed to fit there off the original system was far too small. couple of calls later i was told that it didnt need to be plugged in and to just bolt it off with a plug, which i did. the calls were made to very reputable scoob specialists too, no spanner monkeys involved. hope your problem is sorted as my cars a little lumpy recently too, so have started warming her up properly before any journey, especially in cold weather...
