Hi phil, I had my MY01 WRX remapped (not PPP I should add) but there's no way I could be in doubt whether it had been mapped or not, even with a new exhaust (I fitted my new exhaust a few weeks before the remap).
The difference in both power and power delivery is like night and day.

The original will have AE800 or AE801 on it.
If you want to check lift the passenger carpet, in the front footwell, remove the cover plate and look at the label.
If you have a boost guage it should peak at 1.1 bar, up from 0.9 bar on the original.

The original PPP (when purchased as an upgrade and fitted very soon after taking delivery of the car) raised power to around 240bhp. Also included a blue i/c hose stamped Prodrive, and the prodrive back box. In terms of performance, the main improvement was the torque which continued beyond 5k revs.

1 x ecu
1 x backbox with prodrive logo
1 x decat centre section.
1 x certificate
Power was approximately 246 BHP, torque was similar (I will check the paper work)
Looks like you may have a TEK2, as stated by sideways, these ECU's are mappable via ecutek software; if you are not sure have a word with the garage that fitted it.
