Default Exhaust lagging

I've recently bought a full decat system and want to lag the down (and up?) pipes before I get it fitted at Powerstation.

I've been pointed in the direction of http://www.revolution.eu.com/erol.html to buy the lagging but....

- Any idea how much of the lagging I'll need for the two pipes?
- Do I need to buy anything else other than metal jubilee clips?
- How would one 'lag'?

Thanks.

That looks like the same stuff I bought off eBay yesterday.

Does 2" x 25feet sound like enough to lag a down pipe and up pipe?

that was 50 meters so you will have more than enough

and lag wet, you might want some rubber gloves

Cool, I was also told by a friend that lagging wet is better. Thanks.

probably better to do it damp rather than wet.

As it dries out with the heat it tightens up around the tubes and makes it stay on a lot longer. even beter if you can seal it with some heat resistant spray paint afterwards.

You definetly need gloves, and whatever you do dont do what i did and put the clothes you were wearing in with the missus's underwear as it will give her a itchy ****** for a day and she will not be happy!
