Default CORRECT TURBO?

Ive just recently taken the turbo of my 98 STI 4 TYPE R, obviously
for a better item and realised it is a VF 24 turbo, i was under the
impression that all TYPE R's had VF 28's, could someone please
enlighten me on the subject and correct me if im wrong

Hi Mate, depends on the year. V5 type Rs had a VF28 I believe. I think the VF24 was std on the V4 Type R.
