Which gearbox?
Assuming a classic and there must be some in there, you'll need 4 litres, its about 4.1 from empty.
Since you're doing it though you might as well check the rear diff, which will take the same oil (75w90) unless it has an LSD. In which case buy a 5 litre bottle (probably the same as 4 x 1 litres price wise).

Sorry guys, what a tit!
Its a Classic and theres just a dribble on the end of the dip stick.
He called me last nite to say his gearbox was knackered, so checked it earlier.
Hopefully it has'nt done any long term damage.
However, if there is a need to replace it wheres a good place to source 1?
