19G turbo at 1.2bar power ?

18G turbo at 1.2bar power ?
Just wondered if anyone has got something like or ideas about this ?
18G compressor wheel, running at 1.2bar.
TMIC
3.5bar 380 injectors
flowed headers
sports cat and wide down pipe exhaust
I'm going for an Apexi remap soon and I'm thinking about being kind to my gearbox.
Do I go for 95RON or 97 or Tesco 100 ? Trade off is price / availability of fuel & reliability versus 280 ?? - 320 ?? bhp and similar torque.
Don't want to smash my gearbox - it's a UK 97 car with 113K on the clock.
Turbo is actually a flowed TD04 19T hybrid, so bit of an unknown.

Clint,
I'm a bit confused as to what you are after here?
Are you trying to judge the potential performance of your car with a TD04-19T against a similar spec car with a TD05-18G ? If so then the compressor wheels have very different flow characteristics, not to mention spooling differences between the TD04H and TD05H hotsides.
At 2.2PR the 19T is about 15% down on airflow compared with the 18G but needs significantly higher RPM to achieve that so is likely to be less efficient thermodynamically.
19T does look nice though, surge certainly shouldn't be a problem.
Andrew...

Thanks Andrew
What I'm trying to guess at is what potential the TD04 19T I've 'ended up with' along with my set up is potentially going to produce.
I know it's an unusual hybrid so and possibly unique on an Impreza so I was simply trying to find the closest match to see if I'm going toget gearbox breaking torque or not.
(Initially I wanted to try a 16T wheel on the TD04, but things got out of hand)

It's difficult to say what power your car would make, around 320bhp would be the most I think, but I think you would need more than 1.2 bar midrange to get some decent torque.
Is the 19T wheel in a std subaru style cover?

Yeah 19T wheel fits into 'standard' TD04 housing that is machined on the inside.
Whole unit is a simple swap.
My original target was 300bhp and close to this in torque with a TD04 16T hybrid (may or may not be possible), but the machining was not up to standard and when I tried it, the thing screached like a banshee, so was sent back. I was offered the TD04 19T straight away and said yeah OK.
Only then did I find out this would mean fueling and boost solenoid wouldn't be adequate. Nor do I understand flow maps well enough to make an informed choice.
Original plan was to keep torque low down then get as much power & torque without breaking anything.
Now - I'm experimenting
oh well
