Over Boosting
Please Help my car is seriously overboosting now my boost goes to 20psi and it goes straight past that and hits the fuel cut off (not good) this seems to have happened since i repaired a hole on the pipe were the bung goes for my dump valve can some one please help i have a 95 uk spec any ideas what this could be starting with the cheapest

yes ur right there was a pipe joiner one side of the hose had come off now one more thing how do i reduce boost as mine is now hitting 1.6 psi i heard its best to have it at about 14.7psi

I take it you have an aftermarket ecu in there???? otherwise you should be hitting fuel cut at 1.6 bar.
14.7 is 1 bar which depending on ecu could be about right.
If you are running a standard ecu then something is still not right with the way you have things connected. Check all pipework.

Im confused abit, you said your car was hitting 20 psi which is approx 1.6 bar.
If you car is only hitting 16 psi then it shouldnt be reaching the fuel cut.
Was the car running correctly before you fixed the hole? what caused the hole? does the car still run a dump valve?
