Default boot swap

I'm thinking of swapping my boot for another with a V6 spoiler on it - it's a UKMY99

What's involved

ie - boot release, boot lock etc

is this a tricky job in general

Thanks

Piece of cake, four bolts hold the lid to the hinge brackets, wire for the brake light should just unplug, and the lock is quite easy, there's a spring clip to hook off from inside.

Make sure you undo the four bolts with the boot fully open, and also make sure you've got it lined up properly when you go to shut it for the first time, do not try to open the boot from inside the car with no spoiler on, otherwise the rear window is in danger of getting broken.....

Why not just swap the wings over, there's no difference to the bootlids themselves, unless yours is damaged.

Thanks Ron

Jim, can't swap the spoilers over or the other boot lid will be full of holes

Mines a bog standard and the other is a V6 that has been bolted and glued etc.

The other car is being traded so I have done a deal on the V6 spoiler
