Default Job at APi anyone ??

There is vacancy just appeared at APi for a mechanic working solely on any Subaru Turbo that comes in the door. Ideally, you have good experience working on Subaru, but fully experienced tecchies from other makes will qualify. The team atmosphere is friendly, you are expected to work unsupervised and any necessary training will be available.

The pay is good. The pressure to turn out jobs, right first time with care and attention to detail is HUGE. Customers like to talk and watch for part of the time and that is tolerated.

Apply to me David, in writing as soon as you like. Do not call me, as I am away on Hols until August 7th. Meantime, APi is open and running as normal and any assistance, or advice, or work you want doing, is in the very capable hands of Nathan and the guys.

If you can match my wages+fuel to get there and back and tollerate a 36 year old who want to learn more and knows nothing about subarus, then i'll do it.

But in my favour, i have been an Aerospace tool maker for the last 20 yrs and run my own profit making section.
CV on request.

Good luck finding the right man the bit you wrote below is so important and many lose sight of this.

38.75 hours standard [ 08.30 - 17.00 5 days ]
: Overtime every Saturday AM.

9.00 basic; overtime at 1.5 standard rate.

Friendly, challenging, accurate, self motivated/ regulated, with little interference from me. Well not much anyway.

You are trusted to test your own work and will soon get found out if anything ain't dead right.

Good customer face to face skills help as most want to stand and talk and watch for part of the time.

Form a queue guys, not many chances like this going at the moment.

I dunno, Wheels stuck in the half open position , appears to be heading for the ground at high speed the wrong way up.

Is that an example of your work or just a general picture
