Question New car faults...please help!!

Ive bought my first scobby today 2002 STi Prodrive Type UK can you sense a but coming!! There are two faults which i thought would be simple fuse issues but oh no

The first is the intercooler spray not working have tried looking for loose connections or a blown fuse but from speaking to Scoobyclinic there isnt a dedicated fuse for the pump . Any ideas?

The second is the electric mirrors are not working neither side. I know these are linked with the cig lighter circuit but this works fine and the fuse is ok!

Any help would be most appreciated.

Brad

P.s this isnt the first post i was hoping for

From your post I think that you may have bought it from a dealer/garage as the pic indicates. Did you get a 12 month warranty with the car, hope so??
I would take it back for them to correct, if they refuse threaten him with the local paper, by that I meant was write a letter blemishing his name etc. If all else fails ring Trading Standards. Hope this helps.

If you press the spray button, do you hear a click from the power relay?

There is no clicking sound when I press the IC button, Is that good or bad?! Does the switch on the dash just pop out or do you have to go behind the dash to get to it? Does it have a seperate fuse?

With regards to the mirrors I had my phone charger plugged in tonight and when I pressed the button to operate them (either side and any direction) the light on the phone charger dimmed with every press. Would this indicate that the switch is good and its the mirrors that are broken?

Been outside since my last post polishing it! Thats the advantage of underground parking its nice and cool and well lit up!

Sorry for all the newbie questions

The IC spray, mirrors and ciggie lighter all share a power source through accessory fuse no.4 so I'd guess the problem lies there.
