Best to discuss it with a good tuner someone like Andy Forrest or the Scoobyclinic both will get you lots more power but keep your engine safe

As far as the exhaust is concerned, it might be worthwhile popping down to have a word with the guys at Revolution, who provide an excellent decat exhaust for the bugeye.

A quality aftermarket panel filter such as STI, Green or K&N will do the job nicely.

If you pop down to the next Tyne Tees Scoobies meet on 1st August at The Dun Cow, Bournmoor, there will be plenty of people there willing to help you spend your money

Cheers

Martin

Nope, it won't pass an MOT with the decat exhaust ~ most folk keep the centre pipe exhaust in their garage and then refit it at MOT time if they have a full decat. A newage WRX has 3 cats, - up-pipe, downpipe and centre pipe.

For the car to pass the MOT without playing about with the exhaust at MOT time you could remove only the centre pipe . A Revolution system with backbox is a bit less than £300.

However, a remap has more effect than the exhaust (and it's much better to get the remap for the sake of the engine if you're changing the exhaust).
Andy F charges £500 + VAT but you're likely to end up with 265 to 280bhp
depending on what you do with the exhaust !

And no, I'm NOT Andy F ! Andy F is based in Edinburgh, so not too far for you Geordie lads !!

Hope this helps,

Andy Mc
