no,but i want to remove the broken heatshielsa around them and replace with wrap, also wrapping will reduce engine bay temps slightly and keep more heat in the exhaust gases for quicker exit. (i think ????????)

try proven products , tavistock

i purchased 50 metres for my headers and down-pipe ,
oh,and 20 steel cable ties at a quid each

be very careful and take your time doing it, specially the downpipe , mine came loose and ended up trailing behind me
i removed it and gave the DP about 10 coatings of heat resistant paint . lagging on headers is still there but after 2 years is becoming very bare , may have to redo them 1 day.
and do your headers pipe by pipe not like me . i did both pipes at once...

I did mine on stainless headers and didnt find much improvement, if any. Another way to keep it in place is to wire lock it, very fiddly tho.
The 1 thing I did notice was when it had been raining and I came to start the car from cold there was a lot of steam from under bonnet for about 2 mins where the lag had soaked up the moistue.

I would recommend that the headers and up-pipe are wrapped, as under bonnet temps need to be kept down.

This is why Subaru fit heat shields as standard.

I did mine with 30M X 2"width with a little left over, you'll have enough to do your downpipe as well with 50M. Horrible stuff to work with tho, itchy as fk!

Its hard to say as mine were stainless headers which I had to wrap each indivdual tube, 4into1 style. If yours are just standard they will be wider o.d pipework but less individual pipes, 4into2into1 if you get the picture. Go for 25M but make sure you can get more of the same stuff if required.

be carefull tho because some headers can crack at the welds if wrapped due to increased temperature. i think its the megan headers that are notorouse for that.
