what spoiler is this?
just got myself a 94 wrx and it came with this spoiler, I want to know :
what kind is it?
how easy is it to remove?
does anybody want to swap it for an original one?
I'm NOT looking for any money for it, just a straight swap if anyone's interested as I just don't like it (call me old fashioned!) but you would have to come and get it
apologies if it's in the wrong section I'm a noob

oops - so it's worth a few quid then? lol!
thanks for the prompt reply guys, I just don't know if I can be bothered with the whole ebay thing as I don't know if it's a genuine or copy spoiler - I also don't know if any extra holes have been drilled in my boot lid to fit it? also the gaps have been filled with silicone, any ideas on how to get the stuff off without damaging the paintwork? or should it just peel off?

you will be able to tell usually buy popping the spoiler off and looking where the mounting bolts are mate. it will have some sort of mark ie STI engraved on the bottom if its a geuine part. i had a mid level one on my old sport and that came off a jap import sti, had it stamped on the underside again near the mounting holes.
regarding fitting, most the spoilers off classics are a straight swap. like ai said i had an sti one replace the crappy low level one no problems. ive got a mid level one on my jap wrx (silver same as yours) if your interested in a straight swap... pm me mate im after a bigger spoiler!! its smaller and much more subtle with the brake light working. mines a 95 wrx, looks exactly the same as yours fella.
