Ecu code ????

I have an ecu from a typr ra on a 94 plate and it bears the code w9 on the top, what does this actually mean ??

It identifies the mode (one of several available on A & B-Series WRXs -U8, W6, W9, V9, 1C, 2C; I dont think that it has any deep meaning beyond that. Id ditch it in favour of a Z4 if I were you. Much better map and itll make 260PS on Optimax.

No real point in me having a z4 as i want to go apexi, but how much are they worth ???
