Dodgy Idling
Just moving this from the scoobynet general forum.
New:
Plugs
Coils(from breakers but looked ok, old ones were all cracked)
Oil(15w50 mobil)
Air filter(standard)
90 000 mile service
Lambda changed last year
Car has idled at 500 ish revs when warm for a year or so, does fluctuate between 500 an 1000 revs but settles back to 500. It was missfiring on full boost but the changed coils seem to have sorted that.
I thought it was the MAF as in the 4 years and 40000 miles i've done its never been changed but i've tried unplugging it when the engine is running and the car stalls straight away. I believe this means it is working. It also looks clean and intact.
Anybody got any further suggestions.
