Urgent Reply Needed - I've Used Gaffa Tape On The Speedo Cable
Guys,
Trying to fit a speed converter to the speedo cable and i've lost the clip that holds the speedo cable together a couple of inches from the gearbox.
I was trying to put it back on and 'ping' off it went never to be seen again.
So to sort it temporarily, i've connected it and wrapped it up with gaffa tape - so that it won't come apart.
My only concern is, will the gaffa tape melt or set on fire?
It's not actually touching any metal, but it's 3 or 4 inches from the turbo.
I need a reply to this as soon possible....

sorry but the only non bodge it solution is a new clip, ring your convetor supplier, and just tell them the situation, if they are reputable they will organise u a new one, i am currently running one of the convertors that go on the back of the clocks still a bit of a pain to fit but needed the clooks out to convert tham for the esva anyway KMH to MH.
