VF35 PROBLEM! OIL IN THE BOOST CONTROLLER!
Hi, yestarday i had drag races and i got 12.70 @ 180 Kph.
Today i check my engine and i found the Manual Boost controller(turbosmart) with oil . One month ago i swaped orig td04 for a second hand IHI VF35. I was running 17 - 18 PSIs of boost.
I am very worried because the oil comes from the turbo and i am not sure if that turbo can be repaired. Please i need help from the experts. what could be happen, a gasket inside the turbo? please! can this turbo be opened and repaired??? i heard thath ihi turbos were sealed. I think it is not ball bearing (i asked one month ago here)
what do i have to do?
Anyone with this problem?
Thanks in advance!!

how do you know the oil has come from the turbo, far more likely that you are pulling oil into the intake and then its being blown into the boost pipes.........................
as an aside to get the benefit of that turbo and run reliably you will need a remap for that car................

It has be remapped.
i took out the hose that gets from the turbo to the wastegate and after a few minutes driving full boost. it blows a lotr of oil. i am almost sure that is the turbo. today i am checking if the IC has oil in it.
more opinions please? the first diagnostic was the inside gasket (i dont know the name in english). Anyone knows if this turbo can be opened or repairred??
Thanks

i was told the same. If it is the seal, there is no way to repair the problem.
what about the oil vapour from the engine to the intake? this could fill the intercooler with oil?? what about this? it is better not disconect that hoses?, install an oil catch can? or ?

Have you checked your oil level to make sure it's between the 2 holes in the middle of the dipsitck and not over the notch which is on the side?
I know this sounds as though I'm teaching you to such eggs but it's just a thought.
