Isnt that a problem with it not being used properly instead of a bad product? Dawes is now known as 3 bar raceing if you go to there web page they have all you need to know about fitting there mate prob best to fit a boost gauge though to keep your eye on things.

It fits on the take off from the turbo outlet to the actuator, with the 90deg elbow with little hole in it on the actuator side.
Careful when setting it, a little adjustment goes a long way

yes you'll hit peak boost early in the rev range then it should tail off toward the top.
If you trust is is set correctly you can put your foot down and check... (brave) or wind it out until you feel the tension come off the spring, wind it back in a half turn, then test, wind in 1/2turn, test, wind 1/2 turn.
You may be a few turns in before you get more than 8psi (1/2 bar) reading then it should come up quickly. Keep adjusting in small amounts until you get you boost right.
Do you still have the fuel cut? If so you could just put it on and try it out. In the case of drastic overboost it will cut the fuel anyway and protect the engine.
