My standard induction pipe has come away where it meets the turbo, presumably due to the heat from the turbo, and needs to be replaced.

I've decided to fit a silicone one in its place rather than the rather dull looking standard item. However, on the items advertised as being for a version 3 wrx sti, such as mine, the pictures show the pipe with 4 connections, whereas my STI has a 5th connection on top of the pipe near where it connects to the airbox.

Would it be possible to tap an additional connecter into the above pipe? Is it only the STI models that have this extra pipe (looks boost related), or do regular wrx models have it as well?

Let me add this question. Is there any differences with samco and ebay induction hoses rather than the price? Are they collapse at high boosts, any experience?
