Default Lambda sensor (MY00)

Can anyone confirm where it is ?
Is it the one straight after the turbo? or is it elsewhere ?

Also, where's the best place to find a replacement?

Cheers in advance.

(MY00 UK turbo btw)

Its after the turbo in the downpipe.

Subaru one (with the plug) is about £120. API do them too, but you'll need to solder the wires.

Or you can get them off the net cheaper, but some say they don't last as long.

I think for the MY00 its a 3 wire zirconium lamdba sensor, but just check the number of wires as they come in 2, 3 and 4 wire versions.

Thats great!, cheers for your help.

£120 though, eek! I don't mind doing a bit of soldering, but I don't want to put on a cheap n nasty problematic sensor!
Are the Subaru oem ones Bosch sensors? If so, I'm sure I noticed in Halfrauds they'd started to sell oxygen sensors - do you think I'd be able to get one from there?

The problem with the Subaru sensors is the wiring loom. You can get replacement Bosch ones pretty readily, but they don't come with the correct Subaru connector attached - hence the soldering.

I *think* the OE one is a re-badged Bosch item, but I've never had one in my mucky paws to confirm this

Thanks for the mention Dave.

£88.00 is the price for a Japanese Bosch generic lambda that we've been selling for years. it works every time and lasts. Halfrauds sell one but reports on here suggest they last about 4 - 6 weeks.

Add a bit of postage to the 88 and the VATmans slice and off you go.

Lret me know if we can help

Good Luck - David - APi

Cheers guys, that’s a great help.

David, now that you mention it, I seem to remember reading the same thing about sensors from Halfrauds, I just failed to remember not to buy them from there !! – glad I asked the question. I’ll have a quick look at mine to check wires/ colours etc and I’ll PM you soon for one that ‘works every time and lasts’

Thanks again.
