Default Lumpy / hesitates from cold?

As the title suggests its a bit reluctant at low revs but as soon as im driving at reasonable speed it seems to be okay...until the next set of lights or what ever.
Any ideas?

Cheers

Gaz.

Mine did this. Is it worse when the air temp is lower?

Replaced my lambda sensor and it was ok again.

Where in Sheffield are you mate?

If it is an early classic, the sensor is in the headers

I have the same problem with mine, seems to be worse in cold weather and when the car has not been driven for a few days. So far replaced
MAF
Lambda
Camshaft Sensor
Coolant Temp Sensor
sparkplugs
ECU chip

Mechanics have done diagnostics on it and still can't find the problem.

Runs perfect when warm.

Let me know if you find the answer.

This problem has been talked aboout on here many times. What year is your scoob. I notice the same problem on my MY99 UK Turbo. Supposed to be the lambda sensor getting up to temp.

Did you just clean the throttle position sensor or have to buy a new one ?
If so what did you use to clean it
Thanks

Personally mine is lumpy as hell when its cold, but i always do my best to leave it ticking over for 5 minutes when its not run for a few hours before setting off. I only work a mile away but i'd rather know the oil was warm and flowing before i rag it.
