Question Help Please. Flashing centre diff lights on dash

Hi, Can anyone help? I have just put back my dash and centre consol on my Type R and reconnected the multi plugs on the back of the clocks and on the centre diff adjusting ****. The problem is that the centre diff lights in between the temp gauge and rev counter keeps flashing on the bottom green one. Can anyone help with an answer. I have disconnected the battery and put it back on but it is still the same. Cheers PJ

It means there is something wrong, check you have plugged them in correctly.

They have their own multi plugs that only go in one way. All i did is unplug the ones that goes into the back of the clocks and the one that goes into the back of the control wheel thingy in the centre consol, take out and replace the dash. Then reconnected the multi plugs. I was wondering if you might have to reset it somehow?

Disconnect the battery for a short period, say an hour, and then try again.

Daft as it sounds, check the connectors pins: I bent a pin on a multiway connector (god only knows how- the way it mates seems bulletproof!) and it caused strange problems...

The flashing 'open' seems to be the emergency mode, when my abs unit failed it did the same thing, sounds like something inst connected.
