Default Bugeye Lamada sensor - HELP!!

Right, got a 4 wire lamda sensor on the up pipe and it was replaced with a aftermarket one, car runs like a dream but I can not get a reading of it for my AFR gauge. When we try the gauge in a classic the gauge works fine, the afr out the classic into my bugeye, doesnt work!

Has anyone wired up a AFR to a bugeye, surely someone has that could help with the wires!

I have a Autotechnic AFR gauge!

Thanks

Ricey

It sounds like you haven't got the afr gauge connected correctly. Have you confirmed the connections with the ecu pinout for your car ?

Does anyone have a pic or a know what pins to use?

Used the the americian ecu pinns, but not sure if theyre correct.

Just a caution note,The lamda in the up-pipe on the new age car is wide band.If your putting a run of the mill replacement in it the ecu will not read it and i guess if the guage is wired to the ecu it may not see the signal either.Or the other way round if its a narrow band guage then i guess you should be able to use the second lamda by the second cat.

The US ecu is most likely different to UK and JDM ecus, but I don't know if this means the pinouts are the same or not. Have you searched on here for the pinout ? What car and ecu is it ?

The up-pipe OEM sensor is for EGT not Lambda.
Ther is a primary Lambda sensor in the exhaust headers and a secondary one in the centre section
Are you saying that the EGT sensor has been removed, the hole is widened and you've connected a 4 wire Lambda probe into the 2 wire EGT sensor connector?
