Throttle Switch dangerous

for me or my cars health if i dont change it recently did an error check it came up with 43 throttle switch but my car doesnt seem to be suffering for it how important is this ?

reset the ecu and see if it reoccurs it could be a one off..

thanks fo replying yeah ive tryed that three times still shows error thing is i dont think it is causing any probs
