Default Fuel pump & regulator upgrade are these any good?

From what I have read it seems a good idea to fit an uprated pump and adjustable FPR before having my Power FC mapped.

I have had a look around and came across these. What do people think?

Depends mate, what is the spec of your car and current mods?

Fuel pump usually a good idea.

FPR not usually needed till the mods get more extensive e.g. bigger turbo etc....

Always a good idea to get the mappers opinion; they have to configure the ECU to what you've got at the end of the day and will know what works best.

That's what I wondered. I was intending just to upgrade the pump but having done some reading it seems that the early Subaru FPR can fail with the bigger pump.

Spec wise it is a 95 WRX with decat, Blitz Nur Spec R and a Blitz panel. So not heavily modified by any means.

I took David_Wallis's advice and spoke to Lateral. They have an offer on at the moment Walbro 255lt pump, and Fuelab reg’ kit with gauge. £262.25 delivered.
