Default Boost level on a my99

Hi,

Does anybody know the standard boost level on a my99? I have just fitted a boost gauge and wanted to know if it was working properly. It settles between 14-15 psi max.

The car is running an exhaust which removes the 2nd cat, a panel filter and a dump valve, will these mods increase the boost pressure?

Cheers

Standard around 11 psi or 0.9 bar

1 Bar = 14.7 Psi

Sounds about right with the mods you describe, a decat will raise boost slightly

Max target in the midrange is about 13.64psi IIRC. With your rmods boost may be up a little and/or the boost gauge tolerance will effect things (they normally read a little high).
