Default Sensor Help required badly

HI all,

I have a 1993 wrx import. Ive just bought a new decat pipe and was going to fit it but there is a sensor in my old cat. Is it a lamba sensor or cat on fire sensor. It has a sort of braided wire coming from it and going to near the top of the right engine mount and into a plug connector with then has two wires coming from it.

Can any one give me any information on this.

Thanks in advance drew.

just disconnect and forget....................

the Lamba sensor is in the O/S/F corner of the manifold collector below the up-pipe on your age
