sti air con question?!

sti air con question?!
i have a 1995 sti iv had the car about a month now the air con pump is sized so iv ordered a new pump should be here next week is it as simple as change the pump re gas it then hay prestoe i have cold air or am i thinking to simple??
any help would be great
