Petrol tank questions
HI all,
I have a few questions relating to the subaru petrol tank. As you may (or may not know) im in the process of fitting a 2003 WRX engine into my camper van (see projects section for more) because i want to make life as difficult as poosible for myself and not fork out huge wonga on a swirl pot and inline pump im using the parts of the subaru tank grafted into my van tank which should give an all round more satisfactory result.
My question is - does the subaru run a pressurised fuel tank? I note there are 2 valves located in the top of the tank - or are these just breathers? if they are breathers I presume i can use my original van breather system?
If it does run pressurised -What happens if i dont use a pressurised fuel tank?
any advice, links, etc gratefully recieved. Thanks
Rich
