I recently bought a 05 WRX, it had an aftermarket exhaust (custom chrome racing) system fitted. Does anyone have pics of the underside of their scooby (similar model preferred) so I can see whether it will pass an MOT du to CAT. I reckon the system is a one piece as I can only see one box on the system underneath, thts close to the down pipe.
I know a question like this has been posted before, but damned if I can find it.

if u had a n after market system fabricated by them did they not ask you what you wanted in the system ie cats resonators because they normaly ask you to specify what you want

Sorry scoobertron, the car had the exhaust on when I bought it, the previous owner had it fitted, and I never had a choice in what came with what.

Alright Mate,

Do you know where in the engine bay to look for your downpipe?? Rear left, underneath the turbo??

If you can see that you should be able to see if there is a bulge in the middle (cat) or if its just a straight 2.5" or 3" straight through pipe......
