which exhaust brings out the loudest roar on a calssic scooby is it simply a case of the bigger they come the louder they get???

Blitz nur spec r on mine and also on my other halves scoob they are LOUD, Very loud in fact. Neighbours hate us!

Blitz NUR Spec is the daddy but for an even more mind blowing noise get your scoob decatted and then the Blitz goes into nutcase mental territory

seems like the blitz nur spec r is on the scooby choice..but i dont want a farty loud ringing noise (ive seen some scoobs with big exhaust but they just sound poo although very loud but like a dry fart loud almost ringing like) I want a loud deep rumble so you know when im in the block is this what the nur spec r offers!!!!

LOL Jon subtle as ever,i had a Nur Spec R on my classic for a while but it was so droney and almost embarresing that i swapped it for a much quieter system that makes the car more pleasurable to drive without losing any of the power.Each to their own but i think loud exhausts these days make you look and sound like a tit.Maybe im getting too old for this

THis is funny. I had a custom made stainless powerflow made and fitted for my car. Its pretty loud. If i drive up narrow roads on boost it sets off car alarms. After 3 years normal everyday use it gets right on my wick. At about 50mph it gets kinda resonant in the car. Everyone turns to look at me when i pass and Ive had complaints from the neighbours if i set the turbo timer too long. Im now looking for an exhaust that drives like the scoob but sounds like a Lexus. I must be getting old too.

The other halfs car came with a straight through system, no cats, and a poxy jap style silencer, now that WAS LOUD!

Without a doubt, a 5Zigen is the loudest I've heard.

Blitz is very loud with full de-cat system and looks awsome, proper JapStyle.

has teh oppurtunity to hear a nur spec today and it was faakin amazing so one is on order .
Lucky for me the houses are a bit spaced out near where i live

Just keep in mind if you change the manifold to eg. GT spec - the sound will change dramaticly. The rumple will decrase rapidly.
