hi everyone wanting needing advice, been to tsl last week got told to take it easy!!!! engine bottom end is ever so slightly knocking on cold start up booooo, so its a uk car my 96, with 96k on the clock and has been used, not wanting to spend loads dont even mind taking the engine out and leaving it with someone !!! sti engine??? complete whats the best way to go?? want to stick with the 2litre, and i use it mostly on track days and the ring ....

how can they tell if the bottom end is on the way out,

i thought mine was then it went, engine was rebuilt and that noise was still there, i think the noise was coming from the heads lol
