Have 53 reg sti and recently noticed that under hard acceleration the engine management light popped on when the car hit around 7,000 rpm. Did it twice and have to lock the car and re-open to reset it all. Any ideas?

Getting serviced soon so will get Suabru to check it out then anyway - does the ECU still retain fault codes like that?

Yeh the ECU will retain the fault code, not sure what it could be mind you.....
