Default Advice on error codes

Just reset ECU with no problems but before this tried the ECU diagnostics and found two codes on the system.
Code 13- Camshaft position sensor
Code 53- Fuel pump or circuit

Replaced camshaft sensor approx 1 year ago at API due to error code so I can't understand why this has come up again - any ideas??

Running an MY00 with decat downpipe and Tek remap - shoud I replace fuel pump with an uprated item even though car is running well with no det on knocklink.

Sorry for the two questions thanks in advance for any advice.

If you've disconnected the cam pos sensor to do an oil change that is probably why. Do an ECU reset and drive around for a bit and check again.

If it comes back with just the fuel pump code then remember it means the pump and the circuit and fuses and relays and so on.

It is generally a good idea to fit a better pump if you need to change one. A Walbro, available widely from specialists around the country [ including APi ] is an easy fit replacement and will give years of high performance service.

Call me if I can help more.

Good luck - David. APi Impreza / APi Engines
