Question Just a bit of advise plz on equal fuel lines with pic's

Hi ppl i am in the middle of fitting my rebuilt engine and would like some advice. I have made up some fuel lines and wanted to know where is best to fit a after market pressure regulator? as you can see i have only 1 feed into the fuel manifold and wanted to know is it ok to have the reg on the inner wing T'ed into the supply or does it have to be closer to the injectors?

It needs to go in this order.

Fuel tank - fuel pump - filter - rails (either single supply to all or parallel) - fuel pressure regulator - return to tank.
