SA is an sti ecu, not a very good idea to stick one of these into a standard WRX. The Z4 is a WRX ecu - this is a better idea. The sa is quoted as 250PS while the Z4 as 260PS so its a no brainer - Z4. I would not ever put an sti ecu into a non sti car, asking for trouble and some sti's have different engine feedback signals to the ecu making them completely incompatible with a WRX.
I recently made the upgrade to a Z5, Z4 with higher rev limit, on a 93 JDM and its never run so well.
