I hear the intercooler water spray is a good one. Search the forums ive seen Quite a few DIY jobs posted. At the cheapest it can be done with a washer bottle and pump from a scrap car. If you have an induction kit fitted there may be room to fit it where the Air box used to be. I wouldnt cover the hole in the wing though a good deal of air comes up that scoop. Then at cheapest you could put a momentary push to make switch on the dash and wire it all up so as long as you hold the switch you spray water onto the intercooler. others have done auto mods with boost and timer controls. Like i said search the forums. can cost as little as 20 quid i guess.
