Default (!) Stuck On

Hello woundering if you could help

I changed my calipers about two weeks ago and since ive had the (!) handbrake light permintly stuck on, any ideas ? When i first changed the dics and pads it went off after the brakes warmed up but now it wont ever go off

Yes the brake fluid is all fine and the discs and pads ive checked, am i over looking something ?

Oh and i forgot to say its a 1995 WRX

Check that the rubber in the fluid resevoir lid is not pushed downwards so that when you put the lid on it pushes the level indicator to the bottom.. therefore illuminating the (!)..

As above but mine sometimes sticks for no reason. Take off the lid and tap it a few times SOFTLY to get the float moving again. Check the fliud isnt too high too. Ive found in the past that if the brake fluid is too high the sensor cant float to the top and just seems to stay in one place.
