Error 33 - chip in loom

Default Error 33 - chip in loom

Had error 33 speed sensor 2
got new loom and speed sensor the old one had a chip wired in no doubt to change to mph and delimit
paranoid as as usual, should it be ok to to bypass chip and revert to jap settings.
i think the chip may be faulty so looking to purchase new one

Irecently had error code 33 with my Vehicle Speed sensor. All I did to fix it was clean the electronic circuitry behind the cluster with Tuner/Contact Cleaner. Car runs ok now.

when you say cluster is that the dash?
If so how do you gain access
