Default OEM Resonator centre removal

I've a WRX03 and I've swapped the OEM backbox for the PPP one. Now I'm thinking about swapping the OEM resonator section. What benefits will this give me? I guess a little bit more power and noise, is the noise much louder inside and out?

Would it have any effect on emissions for the MOT as it is due for the first one in May.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy.

Personally, I found the non-resonated centre section a bit too much of a chore on the motorway on my Classic. The Resonator gives you the burble without so much of the drone.

Ns04 do you mean stick with the OEM one or change it from the OEM for a different type? I was looking on TSL earlier, is that what you mean?

I'm just a bit confused by your reply.
