Default What Pipe for breather?

Lbasicaly im lookingto fit a catch can but i want to get the pipe first so i went to Demon Tweeks and Halfrauds, Demons said silicon hose would be eaten away by the oil and petrol deposits as did halfrauds.

Demons then said they make hose that can be used for this, its silicon with a special inner lining but it costs £56 per metre

Halfrauds said something about compressor tubing but that seemed abit strange to me.

the can comes with a short length of clear hosing that looks like hose pipe but it looks abit naff and would make the engine bay look awful so what do you guy use? and where can i get it? price?
cheers,
GAZ

Halfords sell it by the meter in 12.7mm/19mm & 21mm iirc. Depending on which breather your looking at one of the will be the right size.

From £1.80 - £2.20 p/m

It is actually low pressure breather hose so whoever told you it was unsuitable was talking BS..!

PS if your not sure on size they should be willing to cut a small sample lenght of the ones you think night do so you can pull the oem one off and try it. You should be able to do this outside the store.
